Intro-/ Discover Scuba Dive
|
|
|
This
is the ideal program designed for those who have
never seen the beauty of a coral reef up close.
Our experienced instructors will first guide you
through the equipment and safety information,
then take you out on a shallow water session to
get you accustomed to the underwater world. Then
we will take you out over the reef to see all we
have to offer.
When you participate in a Discover Scuba Diving
program, you discover excitement and adventure -
freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the
"weightless" exhilaration of breathing
underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!
Procedure: Basic theory lesson with
subsequent dive and basic exercises at a max.
depth of 5 – 6m.
Duration: approximately half a day, incl.
theory, equipment-preparation and dive.

Scuba Diver
|

The
Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level
certification that is perfect for vacationers or
people who only plan to dive a couple times a
year.
As a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver
program, the Scuba Diver rating allows you to
get certified quickly and easily by minimizing
time constraints.
With the Scuba Diver certification you can dive
down to a max. depth of 12m under the direct
supervision of a Divemaster, Assistant
Instructor, Instructor or higher professional on
your next vacation or dive trip.
Procedure: 2 – 3 day-course incl. 3
theory-lessons, 3 modules of training in the
pool or confined open water and 2 open water
dives at a max. depth of 12m.

Open Water Diver / Junior Open Water Diver /
CMAS*
|

The
Open Water Diver course is the most popular dive
program in the world!
This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense
adventure. From your first Open Water Dive
onwards you will experience a variety of coral
and marine life in this new world. As a
certified Open Water Diver you have the freedom
to dive with a buddy independent of a
professional.
This 4 – 5 day course is run by our professional
instructors to the highest quality standards we
ensure in our dive centers.
For anyone between 10 and 14 we offer a special
Junior Open Water Diver program.
Procedure: This 4-5 day course is broken
up into theory, exercises in pool or shallow
water and four open water dives (two dives to
12m and two dives to 18m).
Final certification card: PADI, NAUI or SSI Open
Water Diver or CMAS*

ADVANCED COURSES
|
|

Adventure Diver / Junior Adventure Diver
(min. age: 10 years)

1
– 2 day-course with 3 Adventure dives. You can
sample three dives of your choice, e.g. Drift
Diver, Underwater Photographer, Search &
Recover, etc…
Theory (detailed briefing) is limited to filling
out and discussing quizzes from the respective
manual (depending on which Adventure dive you
choose). No swotting in classroom!
Final certification card: PADI Adventure Diver.
(You can take the next step by completing two
more adventure dives. If you"ve completed five
total adventure dives that include deep and
navigation, you"re an PADI Advanced Open Water
Diver.)

Advanced Open Water Diver / Junior AOWD (
min. age: 12 years)

After
your Open Water Diver Course or perhaps during
your next holidays, you can participate in the
"Adventures in Diving" Program. Build your
experience, continue your training and discover
the possibilities.
Procedure: The advanced course is made up
of 5 dives over 2 - 4 days. In this course we
introduce you to different kinds of diving, the
core dives include a Deep dive, and a Navigation
dive as well as a choice from three other areas,
e.g.: Night, Multilevel, Drift, Wreck, Search
and Recovery, Naturalist, or Photography.

Advanced Open Water Diver.

Refresher / Scuba Tune-up
|

EFR Emergency First Responder - course (or
equivalent)
|
|
|
Emergency
First Response gives you the tools if you need
to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you"re a
diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response
prepares you to properly handle potentially
life-threatening situations.
This comprehensive program is composed of two
core modules that can be taught in tandem or as
stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response -
Primary Care and Emergency First Response -
Secondary Care. Together, these courses proved
extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as
well as providing optional (yet recommended)
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and
Emergency Oxygen sections.
Supported by the manual and DVD, the Primary and
Secondary courses maybe completed in as little
as four hours.
Final certification card: Emergency First
Responder Primary Care (and) secondary care,
optional use of AED ( Defibrillator).
This course satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR
prerequisite. |

Rescue Diver (min. age: 12 years) / CMAS**
|
|
|
The
Rescue Diver Course is Serious FUN! It will
expand your knowledge and experience beyond
purely recreational diving because you’ll learn
to look beyond yourself and consider the safety
and well being of other divers.
It is an enjoyable way to build your confidence.
Rescue Diver training will prepare you to
prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive
emergencies. Under the guidance of your
professional instructor you will learn different
techniques for rescues.
All rescue divers will tell you that this was
the course they found most enjoyable of all. It
will make you more alert underwater and will
extend to all aspects of your diving life.
A recognised qualification in First Aid and CPR
within the previous 24 months, is required to
participate in this course. If you already
possess one, please bring verification of it
with you. Or we offer you the opportunity to
combine the Emergency First Responder Course
with the Rescue Diver Course.
Procedure: In 4 days you go through 6
theory-modules with topics like “rescue and
self-rescue”, 4 open water dives as well as 12
rescue scenarios in the water.
Final certification card: PADI Rescue Diver
(prerequisite for Divemaster training) or CMAS**.

NITROX Level 1 & NITROX Level 2 (min. age:
15 years)

NITROX
Level 1:
This NRC course is the entry level course for
Nitrox divers and concentrates on the safety
advantages of Nitrox. Because of its simple
structure the course is available to entry level
divers, (PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent).
The course involves about three hours of
theory.Upon completion of the course, you may
use Nitrox 32% for your dives. The maximum depth
will be 30 metres and you continue to use air
tables / air computers.
NITROX Level 2:
Over and above the theory you learn in NRC
Nitrox I, this teaches you about dive planning
with Nitrox.After completion of this course you
are able to dive with Nitrox to a maximum oxygen
concentration of 40%. Besides gaining the
advantages of increased safety, you can also use
the advantage of longer bottom times for your
dives. |

Master Scuba Diver
|

Master Scuba Diver rating, you"ve reached the
highest non professional level of diver
education. It means that you’ve acquired
significant training and experience in a variety
of dive environments.
Minimum Number of Logged Dives: 50
Minimum qualifications: PADI Rescue Diver or
Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification
from another training organization), 12 years
old, five Specialty Diver certifications.

Divemaster (min. age: 18 years) / CMAS***
|
|

Be
a leader, not a follower! Take the first step in
your dive career and become a Divemaster. The
Divemaster course takes you to a new level in
diving.
Working closely with a SUB AQUA DiveCenter™
Instructor over a min. of 4 weeks, you will
learn instructor level theory and skills, and be
introduced to the world of the diving
professional. This Divemaster training develops
your leadership abilities by training you to
supervise dive activities and assist instructors
with student divers.
Upon completion of this course you will have all
the skills necessary to lead certified divers
and assist instructors as they teach. The
Divemaster course is your passport to travel and
a new career where the ocean is your office.
Our Dive Centers offer you individual and custom
made solutions for your Divemaster training. We
even make it possible for you to split the
course over two vacations.
Your course can also be combined with the
Assistant Instructor Course, which when combined
during 4 – 6 weeks develops you even further as
a Dive Pro!
After this extensive program at professional
level you’re going to be fit for the Instructor
Development Course.
Please contact us, so we can organise an
individual program for you.For the CMAS***
rating you must have proof of min. 40 logged
dives after you obtained your CMAS** rating.
Furthermore you need to have two Specialty I
certifcations as well as a certification in the
following CMAS***-modules: "ABC" and "Deep
Diving", "Rescue Techniques" and "Dive Guiding". |
