| The SUB AQUA DiveCenter™ Khao Lak is proud to
offer you the exotic Thailand, known as one of the most popular dive
and holiday destination worldwide. For a good reason,
where else can you find such amazing differences as here: Warm, friendly and
hospitable people, an old buddist culture which is reflected in impressive
temple complexes and ancient sites, Bangkok as a buzzling Metropolis and
shopping paradise, the mountains and hill tribes of the North, the seemingly
endless rice flats of the Northeast with reminders of the old Khmer culture and
last but not least the golden beaches of the South with the magnificent,
colourful reefs of the Similan Islands.
|
Khao
Lak is a unique, beautiful coastal region where the jungle meets
the sea. Located about 80 km north of Phuket in a rather remote
area of Phang Nga province it offers some of the most
spectacular landscapes of Thailand.
You can walk for hours along the wide, unspoiled beaches and
smell the scent of the sea or the rainforest.
|
|
The
province comprises several National Parks with the Similan
Islands and Surin Islands Marine Park being the most important
ones for divers.
Due to the convenient location with close proximity to the dive
sites of the northern Andaman Sea (the Similan Islands are just
offshore), Khao Lak is the ideal starting point for all diving
daytrips. |
|
Soon
you too will be caught by the special holiday atmosphere of Khao
Lak - a great combination of pure nature, endless white sandy
beaches and the ever present Thai hospitality.
Last but not least the magnificent dive sites of the Andaman Sea
are reason enough to choose Khao Lak as your next holiday
destination.

|
Khao
Lak is spared from mass tourism, still off the beaten track and
considered an insider’s tip for individualists. The white sandy
beaches stretch out over 20 km. A bit away from the resorts they
are nearly deserted.
On one of your non-diving days you should not miss to explore
the closer surroundings of Khao Lak in half day tours. Or take a
full day excursion to the Phang Nga Bay or the jungles and lakes
of the nearby Khao Sok National Park. |
